1. About RentzAuto
RentzAuto is a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace based in St. Kitts & Nevis that connects vehicle owners ("Owners") with people who want to rent vehicles ("Renters"). We are a marketplace — the rental contract is between the Owner and Renter. RentzAuto is not a party to that contract.
2. Eligibility
- •You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- •You must hold a valid driver's licence to rent a vehicle
- •You must provide accurate, complete information during registration
- •You may not create an account on behalf of another person without authorisation
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@rentzauto.net if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Renter Terms
Accurate information
You must provide accurate personal and licence details when making a booking. False information may result in account termination and legal action.
Valid licence
You must hold a valid driver's licence for the vehicle category you are renting. International renters must hold a licence valid in St. Kitts & Nevis.
Vehicle care
You are responsible for the vehicle during the rental period. You must return it in the same condition, with the same fuel level, at the agreed time.
Damage
You are liable for any damage to the vehicle caused during your rental period. This includes accidents, theft, or misuse.
Traffic laws
You must comply with all traffic laws in St. Kitts & Nevis (left-hand traffic). Fines or penalties incurred during your rental are your responsibility.
Cancellation
48+ hours before pick-up: full refund. 24–48 hours before: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours: no refund. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
5. Owner Terms
Verification required
Owners must complete identity and vehicle verification before listing. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing.
Accurate listings
Vehicle descriptions, photos, and availability must be accurate and current. Misleading listings will be removed.
Roadworthy vehicles
You confirm that all listed vehicles are roadworthy, legally registered, and insured in St. Kitts & Nevis.
Insurance
You are responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance coverage. RentzAuto does not provide insurance.
Subscription fee
The monthly subscription fee of $30 USD is non-refundable once activated. Subscriptions auto-expire after 30 days unless manually renewed.
Earnings
You receive 100% of the rental fee you set. RentzAuto charges renters a 6% service fee. Earnings are credited to your wallet and withdrawn manually.
6. Payments
- •All prices are in USD
- •Payments are processed by National Bank of St. Kitts & Nevis
- •RentzAuto charges renters a 6% service fee on top of the owner's listed price
- •Owners receive 100% of their listed price — the 6% is not deducted from the owner
- •Owner payouts are processed manually. Withdrawal requests are reviewed within 3 business days
- •We reserve the right to withhold payouts pending investigation of disputes
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- •Provide false information or impersonate another person
- •Use a vehicle for commercial transport (taxi, rideshare) unless specifically agreed
- •Use a vehicle for illegal activities
- •Sublet or transfer a rented vehicle to a third party
- •Circumvent payments by dealing outside the platform
- •Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- •Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service
8. Disputes Between Users
RentzAuto is a marketplace. Disputes about vehicle condition, damages, or cancellations are primarily between the Owner and Renter. We encourage both parties to resolve disputes directly. We may, at our discretion, mediate disputes and our decision will be final. We reserve the right to withhold funds during an active dispute.
9. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- •RentzAuto is a marketplace and is not liable for the actions of Owners or Renters
- •We do not guarantee vehicle availability, condition, or the accuracy of listings
- •We are not liable for accidents, injuries, theft, or damages occurring during a rental
- •Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 30 days prior to the claim
10. Intellectual Property
The RentzAuto name, logo, app, and website are owned by RentzAuto. You may not use our brand assets without written permission. You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions) but grant us a licence to display and distribute it through the Service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to other users. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Privacy & Data. Termination does not affect outstanding booking obligations.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of St. Kitts & Nevis. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of St. Kitts & Nevis. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
